It is royal: Work of Wendling in Berlin and Bremen

A new research on the painting "Fischerdorf Gothmund" from 1884 by Gustav Wendling, who was only 22 years old at the time, has brought surprising results to light: This work has been shown in two important exhibitions under the title "Nordic Fishing Village". In the year of its creation, 1884, it was already on display in the "57th Exhibition of the Royal Academy of Arts" "on Cantianplatz zu Berlin". 4 years later it was shown in the "26th great painting exhibition of the Kunstverein in Bremen" in the Kunsthalle Bremen.
