Curators joy - vernissage in the Museum Behnhaus Drägerhaus Lübeck

The curators of the Gothmund exhibition in the Museum Behnhaus Drägerhaus Lübeck, Heiko Jäckstein and Marlis Zahn, are looking forward to the vernissage of the new special exhibition "Gothmund. Fishing Village and Artist's Village on the Trave", the great-grandson of the artist and inventor Carl Cowen Schirm, the artist, collector and estate administrator Olaf E. Schirm, Berlin (photo: left).

C. C. Schirm can be seen in the exhibition with two small oil studies of the Trave and Travemünde from 1887. The masterful works show Schirm's skills as a landscape painter in the most delicately balanced "moving weather conditions".
